OKAY VASHWOOD KIDS ON THE HEAD THIS AFTERNOON HHNNG
While I do think that them having kids of their own is super cute and such a nice thing for them both, I am personally a Vash and Wolfwood adopting children truther. Best part is it was Not Even On Purpose.
The times are less aggressive, their lives are less violent (compared to before) and they are both a lot more free. They aren’t used to living a settled life, in spite of finally having a little home of their own at the outskirts of December.
They still travel around without an aim or clear purpose most often than not. They would visit old friends and the times they decided to stay in a place for a bit longer would either be at Home or the Hopeland Orphanage.
They like it that way. It’s familiar and they don’t have to watch for their heads as much as they did before. They are finally experiencing a much more gentler life of their own.
I imagine them stumbling with some kids, let’s say three, that live on their own in one of their trips. They offer to bring them to the Hopeland Orphanage like they usually do to orphaned kids, so they can live more peacefully. They accept after some more convincing.
During that trip they get to live a bit more closely with the children compared to the way they do with the kids back at the orphanage. They love them oh they do, with all their heart, but the closeness they experience with everyone at the orphanage is more of a caretaker sort of approach and nothing as intimate as taking care of them so personally.
The bumpy trip basically obligated them to be more close to the kids, spending nights and days with them, protecting them from danger, cooking meals for their little group of five, spending a few days in different towns to unwind and buy more resources. It was nice, traveling together like that (even if it did get a little dangerous every now and then when they stumbled upon a fight or two).
The kids start to get very attached to them, and both Vash and Wolfwood admittedly were feeling the same way too. They knew they couldn’t keep the kids, not with their wanderers life style and the danger that was still always present (not as terrible as before, but trouble would always be a part of them as it seemed).
Once they got to December to finally leave the kids at the Orphanage, they decide it’s a good time for them to have one of their long stays at the orphanage until their next trip. All of the kids love them both, and they return the sentiment as well. However, it’s evident how their closeness was bigger with the kids they just traveled around with. They knew a bit more about each other with more precision, they were a bit more affectionate with them, the kids would look for Wolfwood and Vash so they could spend more time together. It wasn’t rare for the kids to go and sleep with either of them at night or taking naps with them, but those three particular children would always sleep with them, all snuggled up and warm in their embrace.
It was nice, it almost felt like a little family of their own. Wolfwood remembers how nice it was to live in the orphanage with the other kids, and Vash loved his time with Rem and Knives when they were little, not to mention the people at Home later on, but neither of them really had a grasp of something in their lives they could call wholly theirs, something stable, something constant.
Their stay at the orphanage lasted from their usual month and a half to two months, and then three, until they thought it was a good time for some time of their own back at their little house (living with so many kids always around the corner didn’t provide much space for privacy, much less now that the three kids would follow them as if they were their shadows).
The kids were disappointed and a little sad that their time to leave had come already, even if they had stayed longer than what they usually did this time. Their three little kids were the ones that looked the most anguished from them all, and neither Nick or Vash missed that detail.
When they arrived to their home, they cleaned first, the dust had settled in their house and they could barely move without gusts of it coming to invade their lungs. After they quickly got rid of the most they could they finally got to rest and get some alone time of their own.
The days passed, and the quiet time between them was appreciated, but it felt a bit too quiet. They had quickly grown used to the noise that came with being around the kids in that short time. Maybe it was thanks to the fact that their lives were much kinder now, but something inside of them itched at the thought of not having the kids by their side, of not being together.
They knew what it was after sparing it a second to think of it a bit more.
“You know, I think it would be nice if we stay in here for a bit longer” Vash said out of the blue one day while they were making breakfast together, a soft and genuine smile hanging on his face.
“Yeah, I was thinking the same thing” Wolfwood answered back with a smile of his own, focused at chopping a portion of vegetables a bit too big for two people, it was probably enough to feed five mouths perhaps.

btw after four years i finally finished all data from my iberian-inspired fakemon region. if you even care
#i might start ybraposting again soon who knows#i also have this crave to do pixel art and actually make maps and try to make this a game but i dunno how much this crave will last tbh#i made pixelart back in the day when i was in deviantart so. it's been a while#idk let's see what happens#anyways now that i have the final product#i can say. my fake region is ybra#where pokémon rose and carnation take place (very funny that they are named after the two last canon professors)#yes i know clavell isn't a professor but you know what i mean#i believe i started working on this during gen vii so. lol#anyways. we have ybra as the main region#BUT#there will be three dlcs after you complete the main story#yes three!!! honestly there were only two until i realized i left out a big part of iberia in my original plan for ybra for some reason#and these past days i've been making a region inspired by the kitakami dlc hehe#anyways onto the three dlcs. they are.#1) the glory of ossana. this takes you to ossana. based on southern france aka occitania aka whatever is between kalos and ybra#you have 5 gyms to beat here all thematic (for example there's one specialized on starters and the last one is specialized on legendaries)#of course being next to kalos there'll be references to it. the pokedex has pokemon both from ybra and kalos. and you'll get a new rival#for this region: serena - champion of kalos#also after beating the gym leaders you might get to battle a certain giant man that's 3000+ years old#2) the islands of the muses. this wouldn't make sense if you don't know the main story of the games. but basically throughout the game#you encounter these girls call the muses that protect the access to this dangerous evil pokemon#well. in this dlc you'll visit the homeland#based on the canary islands. each muse has an island associated to them (kinda. cause there's 7 islands)#there's also a mythical pokemon encountered in each territory of the muse and a mini storyline dedicated to it#also these islands are open world!!! and each island has its own pokedex#after beating all the muses and completing all their quests you'll be able to fight mnemosyne their mother and (spoiler) previous champion#3) (the new one!!!!) mysteries of lurmamua. you'll travel to this secluded land called lurmamua based on euskal herria when these mysteries#have been happening just as the region is preparing for an international film festival that is sure to attract tons of celebrities#from all over the world!!!

So leave it what it is
Just give it time
Try your best to smile
Give her lengths of love
But the body is gone
Body is gone
Fondle candy wall
Evening is slime
What a waste of time
And although you still get by
Searching for the things
That make you come alive
It goes down to this
It's a-why you're here
Oh, why you walk
Fondle candy wall
Open hands
Well, that's the style
Bones crack many years
These gamut boys
Millionaires
Take me out on a ride
I like you well enough
To give you mother's arc

Commissions closed till September
Tumblr media
As I'll be travelling starting tonight and will be back on the 27th evening, my commissions are closed for the rest of the summer!
I will probably come back with new sheets and different prices as Uni year is starting next month and I pay everything from my own pocket without any government support.
If you feel generous and would like to support me in the meantime, my kofi is here!
If you are looking for artists to commission in the meantime, I recommend @katarrinskey, @nittroy, @haleymythicalartadventures , @sessenaa and many others that you can find in my "commission" tag!

starter for @lietwice
It was a truly remarkable sort of accident--one of the sort that got written about for decades after. One minute, they'd detected a temporal anomaly, and the next, there'd been a wide-eyed boy in a green shirt and no shoes standing in the place Dr. Bashir had been. No one had been able to come up with any leads for fixing the problem in the extra two weeks the Defiant stayed to investigate the incident.
"The thing is, Garak," Miles said, one hand protectively on Julian's shoulder, even though Julian apparently wasn't paying any attention, and was instead looking down at the padd in his hands, his ears covered by sound-reducing headphones. "I'd take him in in a heartbeat. Me and Keiko, we'll take him. But he gave you power of attorney. In the case of anything. He's not your Julian. Not anymore. Or- or not yet, I suppose. But your Julian would've wanted- I hate it, but he would've wanted me to respect his wishes and give you the choice. So. Are you taking him? Or can I?"

Decided to get the fuck out of Pittsburgh for a day and went up to see Oppenheimer in 70mm IMAX in New York. I always sort of dislike the city until I leave it and then I get this itch to go back-- so this was a good enough excuse. Before Oppenheimer I had time to check out "Bottoms" which was extremely funny (one of the leads was also in "Theater Camp" which was very good as well). Also funny is how the Nicole Kidman AMC intro is becoming this cult phenomenon; in both Bottoms and Oppenheimer people in the crowd clapped and knew every word of the intro by heart. Both films were sold out, both audiences were fully engaged. It was heartening to see that compared to when I go to the waterfront and I'm the only one in the theatre. Oppenheimer was whatever, it's cool to see Nolan trick the world into thinking he's an action director then get 100mil to make a pretty standard arthouse flick. The script was a bit thin and on the nose but I just can't hate a movie that invented an entirely new form of film, casts Benny Safdie in a major role, and asks RDJ to act entirely outside of his wheelhouse. When the film first started I teared up at how overwhelming the sheer size of the screen was. The first row of seats was about 50 feet away because the screen descended maybe 20 feet below them. Definitely a worthwhile experience, especially compared to seeing The Hateful Eight in 70mm at the waterfront because a) they stuck it in a small, 150+/- seat auditorium with a tiny screen, which basically defeats the whole purpose of celebrating the medium's fidelity-- and b) that movie fuckin sucked and Tarentino is a joke.
Anyway, my go-to stop for my last couple of New York trips has been to hit 5th ave and check out whatever new fragrances are coming out / unavailable in Pittsburgh.
Gucci's Alchemist Garden line, probably my favorite designer private collection, isn't at Pittsburgh's Gucci store so I wanted to try the latest scent, "Where my Heart Beats." It was unapologetically floral, but still felt like it could layer well with other scents from the line, especially Voice of the Snake, their Saphron / Oud fragrance. I asked the rep if the line would continue now that Alessandro Michele is out and the line really felt like his baby. The rep hadn't heard anything about it but I still can't imagine the line surviving much longer. 50/50 if bottles get cheaper or skyrocket in price should they become discontinued.
The Louboutin fragrances were all okay. The bottles are beautiful baubles but the juice isn't mind-blowing with the exception of Loubimar, an aquatic tuberose frag that I thought had a very nice honeysuckle accord going.
Tom Ford's new "Myrrhe Mystere" was pretty boring and it seems like the house really has sold its soul in the deal to Estee Lauder.
Guerlain's new "Honey Tobacco" was pretty good! I forgot to ask the rep if they knew anything about what this year's millésime Shalimar release might focus on (rumor is bergamot), but they should announce that stuff soon.
Visited Coach just to look at the dinosaur made entirely out of handbags.
Went to Papaya Dog and got a couple chili dogs and a juice. Has that old Rick Sebak documentary in the back of my mind every time I visit the city but never made it out; it was a good, cheap hotdog! Glad I went.
It's always fun to go out and play with the long exposure mode on my phone, it's not quite like a real camera but it's pretty interesting on its own
